Would you like to be a part of helping others achieve their dreams of parenthood?
Complete the form below and let's get started!
You will submit an application through our secure database. The Application takes from 10-20 minutes. Within 48 business hours an intake coordinator will contact you to discuss the application. At that time, we will ask for 4-6 pictures of yourself and your family to include in your profile.
Complete a background check
After acceptance of your application, a phone interview will be scheduled.
(This can be held over Zoom/email or text if you prefer) During the quick 30 minute phone interview, we will go over your profile, explain the process in more depth, talk about the compensation package, get a feel for the family you’d like to match with and answer any remaining questions you may have. We are all moms here. This is an informal, low-key conversation. Kids in the background are no problem!
Before your profile can become active, we must receive all of the prenatal and birth records from each of your pregnancies. Your last pap smear results are also needed. After the receipt and review of those records, your profile will be established and active in our system for prospective parents (or IP - Intended Parent(s)).
Now that your profile is active, we will begin to find a family who matches with you and the type of connection you are looking for. If a parent shows interest in your profile, we will send you the parent’s profile to view. If you are interested in meeting them, a Zoom meeting will be scheduled. This is a warm and supported meeting..our coordinator will facilitate the conversation between the intended parent(s) and you. After this conversation, both parties will have some time to decide if you want to “match” and move forward in the process.
After matching with Intended Parent(s), you will complete a medical screening at an IVF clinic. The screening involves a physical exam, blood work, uterine ultrasound, and other mild testing to determine your eligibility to carry a surrogacy. This is nothing too scary; it’s a general health check of your body and reproductive health. You will also complete a psychological screening and personality assessment (usually held virtually).
Once you have established medical and psychological clearance, a team of lawyers works to draft a legal agreement between you, (the surrogate) and the parent(s). You will be provided your own attorney (at no cost to you) to help you through the legal process.
After legal contracts are completed and signed by all parties, the IVF clinic will provide you a calendar. This calendar lays out the start and stop of medications, appointments scheduled and of course the “big one,” the embryo transfer! Medication will be ordered to ship to your home. Medication is typically started 3 weeks before the embryo transfer. It will include oral and injectable medications that will continue through the 10-12th week of the pregnancy. All of this will be explained ahead of time with a nurse. You will also visit an IVF clinic 3-5 times during this stage for blood draws and uterine lining checks to make sure you are responding correctly to the medication.
You made it! The big day! Embryo transfers are quick and painless. A small catheter is inserted through your cervix and an embryo is inserted into your uterus through tiny bubbles. You may be asked to take 1-3 days of rest after the transfer. Now to wait for pregnancy results!
